  11. I would suggest that you try the 'scribble' tutorial application.  I have 
  12. not had much luck with quickwin.  I have had very little difficulty with 
  13. MFC doc/view stuff using the wizards.  Like you, most of my C++ exerience 
  14. is UNIX.  BTW C++ 4.0 is a great step forward (for MS).
